January 30, the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, marks the opening of The Season for Nonviolence, which runs for 64 days until April 4, the anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. Obviously, a tragic irony that these two great leaders, champions of nonviolence, died of violence.
I have been working with Marshall Rosenberg‘s Nonviolent Communication process for about 4 years now. I believe his work gives each of us a concrete and effective place to start making the world more peaceful: in our daily communications with everyone we relate to.
